About Me
I retired in 2008 from a long career in the U.S. Federal Government. I was considered a “fungible generalist” in some circles; but I definitely have geeky tendencies (viz., my most-recent position was as a customer rep on a mid-sized technical project.) Sometimes that geekiness will show up in my posts; sometimes it won’t.
I’ve lived in one of the East Coast’s tech centers, Northern Virginia, for almost all of the aforementioned 30 years. But really, that shouldn’t have anything to do with my content. I’ll try to disambiguate for non-NoVa readers whenever necessary.
